Bay Cottage is a pleasure to stay at. From the moment we arrived we felt right at home. The entrance gates and wall provide much privacy. Other cottage next door was unoccupied whilst we were there.
The cottage is spacious and airy being beautifully decorated with quality fixtures, fittings and flourishes. I hope other guests look after it. Comfortable beds and a peaceful setting made for a great nights sleep. Everything was spotlessly clean. We ventured out each day and found we could get around at times without the car. We walked down to the pub at Cremyll via the footpath on our first evening for dinner, walking back up the road in the dark afterwards (recommend a torch). A walk up the driveway to Edgcumbe House yields restaurants/cafes and access to the South West coast path. We walked to Cawsand/Kingsand and caught the ferry back. Fowey within easy driving distance.
We had a lovely stay and didn’t want to leave! Thanks so much to you both. Best wishes.

Chistmas 2023
We have thoroughly fallen in love with Bay Cottage and its entire surrounding landscape.
We wanted peace, joy, log fires, long walks and the chance to host a few local family members that we never get to see.
Boxing Day saw 3 generations of family
with 2 x dogs and plenty of opportunity
to cook up a storm in the cottage kitchen to use up Christmas Day leftovers followed by a quiz around the living room open fire.
Storm Gerrit stopped us exploring extensively further, but allowed us to so appreciate how cosy and warm we were – surrounded by the thick walls of the cottage & enjoying the views from all of the window seat aspects of the property.
Starry nights, full moons and full hearts.

Has to be the best air bnb’s we have stayed at so far, just such a lovely private space. Everything was spotlessly clean, fantastically decorated and the gardens were immaculate.
The entrance through the castle-like gates were the highlight. Only a short walk to the pedestrian ferry to get you over to Plymouth and the local pub. Mt Edgcoumbe was just on the doorstep where you can spend all day walking round. Couldn’t have asked for anything better!

Can’t recommend this air BnB enough, absolutely stunning and in beautiful grounds.
We stayed as a family with dogs, it has a very large secure garden.
The house is like home from home with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Perfect location too.
Dean was super helpful, allowing late checkout on NY Day, and very responsive.
Highly recommended and will definitely stay again
